JURIES ACT (IRELAND) 1871 - SECT 3 

Interpretation.

3. In the construction and for the purposes of this Act (if not inconsistent
with the context or subject matter), the following words shall have the
respective meanings herein-after assigned to them; (that is to say,)

"County" shall include ["county borough"] and "the city and county of
Londonderry":

Definitions rep. by 1978 c.23 s.122(2) sch.7 Pt.I

"Sheriff" shall include under sheriff:

Definition rep. by 1919 c.71 s.4(2) sch.

"Barony" shall include half barony or other division of a barony, and in
counties of cities or counties of towns shall mean wards.
