MINISTRIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1946 - LONG TITLE

An Act to regulate the salaries of Ministerial offices and of the
Attorney General for Northern Ireland; to provide for a change in
the name of the Ministry of Labour for Northern Ireland, and for
purposes connected with the matters aforesaid.

MINISTRIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1946 - SECT 2
Change of name of Ministry of Labour, etc.

2.(1) From and after the passing of this Act the Ministry of
Labour for Northern Ireland may be styled by the name of the
Ministry of Labour and National Insurance for Northern Ireland; a
corresponding change may be made in the title of the Minister of
the said Ministry of Labour.

(2) Section two of the Ministries of Northern Ireland Act, 1921
[N.I.] (which relates among other matters to the styles of the
Ministries of Northern Ireland) shall have effect subject to the
provisions of this section.

Short title.

3.(1) This Act may be cited as the Ministries Act (Northern
Ireland), 1946.
