161.Where a person wilfully insults a magistrates' court or otherwise misbehaves towards the court while it is sitting, the court may either direct such person to be removed from the court or to be taken into custody and, at any time before the rising of the court, may commit such person to prison for a period not exceeding [three months] or impose upon him a fine not exceeding [#200 or may so commit such person and impose upon him such fine] and an order for the payment of such fine may be enforced as though the fine were a sum adjudged to be paid by a conviction.
