POLICE ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 1970 - SECT 5

Provision and maintenance of equipment.

5. The Police Authority shall, subject to any regulations made under
section 27, provide and maintain such vehicles, apparatus, furniture,
fittings, clothing and other equipment as may be required for the purposes of
this Act and may enter into arrangements with any Government department or
public or local authority for the maintenance and repair, on such terms as the
Authority with the approval of the Ministry may determine, of vehicles,
apparatus or other equipment used by that department or authority.
