This Statutory Rule has been made to correct a drafting error in S.R. 2011 No. 49 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Rule.

The Department of the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 55(1), (2), (4) and (6) and 110(2) of the Road Traffic (Northern Ireland) Order 1995(1), makes the following Regulations:
1.-(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Road Vehicles Lighting (Amendment No. 2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2011 and shall come into operation on 24th March 2011.
2. In regulation 17A(1) and (2) of the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2000(2) as set out in regulation 4 of the Road Vehicles Lighting (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2011(3) for "1st June 2010" substitute "1st June 2011".

These Regulations correct an error in regulation 4 of the Road Vehicles Lighting (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2011. In new regulation 17A of the Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2000 as set out in the said regulation 4 the date 1st June 2010 is amended to 1st June 2011.
