The Department of Health, Social Services and Public Safety makes the following Regulations, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 12(3) and 16(1) of, and paragraph 14 of Schedule 2 to, the Sunbeds Act (Northern Ireland) 2011(1).
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Sunbeds (Fixed Penalty) (General) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 and shall come into operation on 1st May 2012.
2. A fixed penalty notice shall be in the form set out in the Schedule.

These Regulations provide the form of fixed penalty notice which may be issued in respect of particular offences under the Sunbeds Act (Northern Ireland) 2011.
