Licensing

The Licensing (Notice Relating to Local Producer’s Premises – Authorisation for On-Sales) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2022

The Department for Communities( 1) makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Article 52F(9) of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996( 2) and now vested in it( 3).

Citation and commencement

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Licensing (Notice Relating to Local Producer’s Premises – Authorisation for On-Sales) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2022 and shall come into operation on 2nd June 2022.

Form and dimensions of Notice

2.  A notice under Article 52F(9) of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 must –

(a) contain the information specified in the Schedule; and

(b) be contained in a document the dimensions of which are no less than 297 mm in length and 210 mm in width.

SCHEDULE

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations prescribe the form and dimensions of the notice, and contain information relating to the sale and consumption of intoxicating liquor, that local producers of intoxicating liquor must display in the part of their premises granted a suitability order under Article 52E of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996, when authorised to sell for consumption in that part of their premises under Article 52F of that Order.
