ETHICAL STANDARDS

The Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000 (Devolved Public Bodies) Order 2004

  Made 16th December 2004 
  Laid before the Scottish Parliament 17th December 2004 
  Coming into force 24th January 2005 

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 28(2) of the Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000[1], and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:

Citation and commencement
     1. This Order may be cited as the Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000 (Devolved Public Bodies) Order 2004, and shall come into force on 24th January 2005.

Devolved public bodies
    
2.  - (1) The Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000 shall be amended in accordance with the provisions in paragraph (2).

    (2) In schedule 3[
2], insert at the appropriate place-

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order modifies Schedule 3 to the Ethical Standards in Public Life etc. (Scotland) Act 2000, which lists those bodies that are a "devolved public body" for the purpose of that Act.

Article 2 of this Order adds the Risk Management Authority, the Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care and the Scottish Social Services Council to that list.
