ADULTS WITH INCAPACITY

The Adults with Incapacity (Countersignatories of Applications for Authority to Intromit) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2005

  Made 8th December 2005 
  Laid before the Scottish Parliament 9th December 2005 
  Coming into force 1st February 2006 

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 26(1)(c) of the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000[1] and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement
     1. These Regulations may be cited as the Adults with Incapacity (Countersignatories of Applications for Authority to Intromit) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2005 and shall come into force on 1st February 2006.

Amendment of the Adults with Incapacity (Countersignatories of Applications for Authority to Intromit) (Scotland) Regulations 2001
    
2. —(1) The Adults with Incapacity (Countersignatories of Applications for Authority to Intromit) (Scotland) Regulations 2001[2] are amended in accordance with the following paragraphs.

    (2) In regulation 2 (interpretation)–

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations)


These Regulations amend the Adults with Incapacity (Countersignatories of Applications for Authority to Intromit) (Scotland) Regulations 2001 to include further classes of persons who may countersign an application made under section 26 of the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000.
