The Housing Revenue Account General Fund Contribution Limits (Scotland) Order 2010

The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 204 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 1987(1) and all other powers enabling them to do so.

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Housing Revenue Account General Fund Contribution Limits (Scotland) Order 2010 and comes into force on 1st April 2010.

General fund contribution limits

2. The amount of contribution out of its general fund which a local authority may estimate that it will carry to the credit of its housing revenue account for the year 2010-�2011 is limited to nil.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order provides that local authorities must not include in their estimates for the year 2010-�2011 any contribution from their general fund to their housing revenue account.
