IN THE UPPER TRIBUNAL

IMMIGRATION AND ASYLUM CHAMBER

Case Nos: UI-2021-002928 &

UI-2021-002930

THE IMMIGRATION ACTS

Directions Issued:

On the 29 January 2024

Before

UPPER TRIBUNAL JUDGE RINTOUL

Between

ILIA DIASAMIDZE

(ANONYMITY DIRECTION NOT MADE)

Appellant

and

SECRETARY OF STATE FOR THE HOME DEPARTMENT

Respondent

DIRECTIONS

1.       Since this matter was stayed by the Upper Tribunal, the appellant's partner's claim for asylum has been refused, and her appeal is now outstanding before the First-tier Tribunal.

2.       Given the circumstances of the appeal as set out in the previous decision and the previous directions, I consider that it is no longer appropriate for the appellant's appeal to be remade in the Upper Tribunal.

3.       I therefore vary the directions previously given in the Error of Law decision and direct that the appeal be remitted to the First-tier Tribunal with the intention that it be heard at the same time as that of his partner whose appeal number is PA/67309/2023.

Signed Date: 26 January 2024

Jeremy K H Rintoul

Upper Tribunal Judge Rintoul
