Manjit Singh Dhaliwal v (1) Arif Hasan (2) Sucha Singh (Adverse possession : Factual possession) [2018] UKFTT 59 (PC) (22 December 2017)
Application for first registration of a strip of unregistered land on the basis of adverse possession. The land formed a strip between two residential properties and Applicant claimed to have parked cars there in connection with his garage business, for a number of years. Neither objector (the adjoining owners) claimed title for themselves but denied that there had been adverse possession. HELD - The application succeeded on the facts.
