Summary: The complainant made a request for the production costs and estimated viewing figures for the programme -˜Wanted Down Under-™. The BBC argued that the request was for information held for the purposes of art, journalism or literature and was therefore derogated. The Commissioner-™s decision is that the BBC correctly determined that the information is held to a significant extent for these purposes and therefore the BBC is not obliged to comply with Parts I to V of the Act.
