Summary: The complainant requested information concerning the cost of a named British Broadcasting Corporation (-BBC-) reporter-s trip to China to cover a football match involving Hull City Football Club. The BBC refused to provide the information claiming that it was outside the scope of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the -Act-). The Commissioner is satisfied that the information in question is held for the purposes of journalism, art or literature. Therefore the BBC was not required to comply with Parts I to V of the Act in relation to this request.
