Summary: The complainant submitted a request for information relating to a report made by the Crown Prosecution Service (the -public authority-) to Staffordshire Police. The public authority failed to provide an adequate response to the request within the terms of the Act. The Commissioner-s decision is that the public authority failed to comply with sections 17(1)(b) and 17(7)(a) and (b) of the Act and must now do so within 35 calendar days of the date of this Notice.
