Summary: The complainant requested information about the payment received by the public authority-™s Returning Officer and deputy Returning Officers in return for their performance of election duties. This was refused by the public authority but the refusal notice was unsatisfactory. The complainant was subsequently referred to the information, available on the Ministry of Justice website. The Commissioner finds breaches of section 1(1)(a), section 17(1) and section 17(7) of the Act but requires no action to be taken.
