Summary: The complainant requested information about the age up to which parents should be able to withdraw their children from sex and relationship education lessons, prior to 6 May 2010. The Commissioner-™s view is that the Department for Education has applied section 35(1)(a) appropriately. However the Commissioner finds that the Department for Education has breached section 17.
