Summary: The complainant has requested the disclosure of the costs incurred by the BBC to broadcast the Royal Wedding. The BBC explained the information was covered by the derogation and therefore excluded from the FOIA. The Commissioner-™s decision is that this information was held by the BBC genuinely for the purposes of -˜journalism, art or literature-™ and did not fall inside the FOIA. He therefore upholds the BBC-™s position and requires no steps to be taken.
