Summary: The complainant has requested information about the costs of a particular Panorama television programme. The BBC explained the information was covered by the derogation and excluded from the FOIA. The Commissioner-™s decision is that this information is held by the BBC genuinely for the purposes of -˜journalism, art or literature-™ and does not fall under the FOIA. He therefore upholds the BBC-™s position and requires no steps to be taken.
