Summary: The complainant has requested information related to the prosecution of a named defendant. The public authority withheld the information citing the exemptions in sections 30(1)(c), 32(1), 40(2) and 42(1) of the FOIA. The Commissioner-s decision is that the exemption in section 40(2) is engaged and that disclosure of the requested information would breach the Data protection Act 1998 (the -DPA-).
