Summary: The complainants have requested information concerning the number of teams that take part in University Challenge each year, the number that are from Oxford and Cambridge colleges and how many Scottish stage productions and exhibitions have been reviewed in the Review Show programme since its move to Glasgow. The BBC explained the information was covered by the derogation and excluded from the FOIA. The Commissioner-™s decision is that this information is held by the BBC for the purposes of -˜journalism, art or literature-™ and does not fall inside FOIA. He therefore upholds the BBC-™s position and requires no remedial steps to be taken in this case.
