Summary: The complainant has requested the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to answer 17 questions relating to ongoing issues and complaints he has made concerning claims for job seekers allowance. The DWP refused to comply with the request as it considers it is vexatious under section 14 of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The Commissioner-™s decision is that the DWP has correctly applied section 14 of the FOIA in this case. It was not therefore obliged to comply with the request. The Commissioner requires no steps to be taken.
