Summary: The complainant has requested information on the funding of programmes on wind farms. The BBC explained that the specific information was not held; but, if held, it was covered by the derogation and excluded from FOIA. The Commissioner considers that this information is not held but, if it was held, it was held by the BBC for the purposes of -˜journalism, art or literature-™ and did not fall inside FOIA. He therefore upholds the BBC-™s position and requires no remedial steps to be taken in this case.
