BAILII is celebrating 24 years of free online access to the law! Would you consider making a contribution?
No donation is too small. If every visitor before 31 December gives just £1, it will have a significant impact on BAILII's ability to continue providing free access to the law.
Thank you very much for your support!

Summary: The complainant has requested information about BBC editorial control and definitions of words used by editorial staff or in programmes. The BBC explained the information was covered by the derogation and excluded from the FOIA. The Commissioner-™s decision is that this information is held by the BBC genuinely for the purposes of -˜journalism, art or literature-™ and does not fall under the FOIA. He therefore upholds the BBC-™s position and requires no steps to be taken.
