Summary: The complainant has requested from Basingstoke and Dean Borough Council (-˜the council-™) the advice requested and received from Counsel. The Commissioner-™s decision is that the council has correctly applied the exception where disclosure would adversely affect the course of justice, the ability of a person to receive a fair trial or the ability of a public authority to conduct an inquiry of a criminal nature. He does require any steps to be taken.
