14 October 2015, Local government (Borough council)
The complainant has requested details of deceased people who have had a public health funeral. The Commissioner’s decision is that Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council has correctly applied the law enforcement exemption at section 31(1)(a) of the FOIA. He does not require the public authority to take any steps to ensure compliance with the legislation.
