Vale of Glamorgan Council

The complainant has requested various items of legal advice provided to the Vale of Glamorgan’s Planning Department in respect of a dangerous structure at the border of his garden. The Vale of Glamorgan Council refused the request in reliance on regulation 12(5)(b) of the EIR. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Vale of Glamorgan Council was entitled to rely on regulation 12(5)(b) in respect of this information. The Commissioner does not require the public authority to take any steps.
