Brighton and Hove City Council

The complainant has requested information from Brighton and Hove Council (“the Council”) regarding parking permits. The Council disclosed some information but stated that it was unable to provide the rest due to issues with obtaining the information from its systems. The Commissioner has used her discretion to apply section 40(2) – third party personal data, to the remainder of the information which it holds. The Commissioner considers that this information is exempt from disclosure under section 40(2) and does not require the public authority to take any steps as a result of this decision notice.
