Home Office

The complainant requested a copy of a specified report issued by the Advisory Council for the Misuse of Drugs (‘ACMD’). The Home Office refused to provide the report, citing the exemption at section 35(1)(a) (formulation of government policy) of FOIA. The Commissioner’s decision is that the Home Office was entitled to rely on section 35(1)(a) of FOIA to withhold the requested report. No steps are required as a result of this notice.
