Summary
The applicant failed to respond to an official letter objecting to the claimed invention not being patentable subject matter and offering the applicant an opportunity to be heard before his application was formally refused. In the opinion of the examiner the application was not patentable: the user of the invention performed a mental act of storing information and the invention merely presented it for the user. The application was refused for failing to respond within the specified period.
