Summary
Asphalt Systems International Limited filed applications under section 13(1), 13(3) and 27. The section 13 applications, although unopposed, were stayed pending the outcome of the amendment proceedings filed under section 27. The amendments were eventually allowed and the comptroller went on to determine the section 13 applications. It was found that Gary Alma Porritt should be named as sole inventor for the patents as amended and directed that an addendum slip mentioning him as sole inventor be prepared for the granted amended patents. The decision serves as a certificate to the effect that Christopher Paul James Wightman and Jonathan Luke Henry Goodhart should not be named as joint inventors in the granted amended patents.
