Summary
The application concerns a computer-implemented method and system using a mobile device interacting with simulated phenomena and a narrative, wherein computer-controlled representations of the phenomena are displayed incorporated into a real-world environment. It is of use in games, training activity or other simulation experiences. At the end of the Rule 34 period, the examiner was not satisfied that the application was in order, having objections under S 1(1) on the basis of four prior publications; under S 1(2) that the invention is excluded; and other lesser objections. The hearing officer found that the invention was not novel in the light of the four documents, but declined to come to a decision as to whether or not the application was excluded under S 1(2). He also found that the other objections were well-founded.
