Summary
In decision BL O/039/08 concerning a revocation action the hearing officer found the patent as amended to be valid. Subsequently the Defendant asked for a certificate of contested validity and both parties made submissions on costs in respect of the substantive hearing and a preliminary hearing. The hearing officer issued the certificate of contested validity and awarded the Defendant £2,800 as a contribution to its costs.
