Summary
In his decision dated 17 October 2007 (BL O/306/07) the Hearing Officer found that the opposition failed on all grounds. Subsequently the opponent appealed to the Appointed Person and the case was set down for hearing. The opponent asked for an adjournment and then withdrew its appeal. The applicant asked for costs.
The Appointed Person asked the applicant to itemise its costs and this was provided. The opponent declined to comment on the costs claim. The claim was for a total of £740 and the Appointed Person decided to make an award of £600.
