Summary

The application relates to a seat body for a fluid injection valve for an internal combustion engine. The seat body has a series of grooves which are inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the body. The object of the invention is to provide a precise and repeatable dose of fluid. A decision was made based on the documents on file. Following the Windsurfing/Pozzoli test it was decided that the inventive concept lacked the inventive step required by s.1(1)(b); and as such the hearing oficer refused the application under s18(3).
