Summary
The invention relates to a system that provides an enhancement to the game of roulette. In addition to the conventional game in which players place wagers on the outcome of a single spin of the wheel, players also have the opportunity to place wagers upon a supplementary game and win a share of a progressive prize pool which accumulates over time from losing wagers. The hearing officer found that the combination of hardware disclosed in the application was distinguished from the prior art only by the specific rules of playing the game. The application was refused.
