The F.S.S.U. (Temporary Service) Regulations provide for superannuation contributions in respect of temporary Government service before appointment to a permanent post superannuable under F.S.S.U. These Regulations amend the main Regulations in two particulars:-
Regulation 4 (3) (a) of the main Regulations would have excluded from the salary upon which the contribution is to be based not only 1939 war bonus paid before 1st July, 1944, but also 1914-1918 war bonus paid during the period following 1919. This was not intended, and Regulation 1 (1) restricts the exclusion to 1939 war bonus.
Regulation 1 (ii) is a drafting amendment.
