The Minister of Transport in exercise of her powers under sections 84 and 90 of the London Government Act 1963 and of all other powers her enabling in that behalf hereby makes the following order:-
1. This order shall come into operation on 10th March 1966 and may be cited as the London Traffic and Highways (Transitional Provisions) (Amendment) Order 1966.
2. The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply for the interpretation of this order as it applies for the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
3. The London Traffic and Highways (Transitional Provisions) Order 1965(1) shall have effect as though in paragraph (1) of Article 13 (which relates to parking places on highways where charges are made) there were added at the end the words "so, however, that no such variation of any order shall be treated as affecting its validity.".
