Whereas the Secretary of State for Transport, for reasons affecting the public interest, deems it necessary in the public interest to restrict flying in the vicinity of Molesworth Aerodome:
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by article 69 of the Air Navigation Order 1985(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Molesworth Aerodrome) Regulations 1987 and shall come into force on 14th January 1988.
2. An aircraft shall not fly below a height of 2,300 feet above mean sea level over any part of the area bounded by a circle of 1.5 nautical miles radius centred at a point N5223.00 W00025.00 unless the commander of the aircraft is flying in accordance with an authorisation given in respect of the aircraft by the notified authority.
