The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 29(2) of the Family Law (Scotland) Act 1985((1)), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Family Law (Scotland) Act 1985 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1988.
2. Section 25 of the Family Law (Scotland) Act 1985 shall come into force on 30th November 1988.

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into force on 30th November 1988 the remaining provision of the Family Law (Scotland) Act 1985 which is not already in force. This provision, section 25, provides for the presumption of equal shares in household goods.
