The Secretary of State for Education, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 80 of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992(1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Education (Dissolution of the Council for National Academic Awards) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 20th April 1993.
2. The Council for National Academic Awards ("the CNAA") is hereby dissolved.
3. All property, rights and liabilities to which the CNAA is entitled or subject immediately before this Order comes into force are hereby transferred to and vest in the Secretary of State for Education.

This Order dissolves the Council for National Academic Awards, a body established by Royal Charter, and transfers its property, rights and liabilities immediately before dissolution to the Secretary of State for Education.
