The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of establishments and facilities previously managed by the former East Birmingham Health Authority and now managed by the Solihull Health Authority, having consulted the former North Birmingham and the former Solihull Health Authorities(2) in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Solihull Health Authority (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 8th October 1996.
(2) In this Order-
"the first Authority" means the Birmingham Health Authority;
"the second Authority" means the Solihull Health Authority;
"the trust property" means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the former North Birmingham and the former Solihull Health Authorities on 8th November 1995, which schedule has been signed on behalf of both of those Authorities.
2. On 8th October 1996 the trust property shall be transferred from the first Authority to the second Authority.

This Order transfers to the Solihull Health Authority on 8th October 1996 trust property held by the Birmingham Health Authority. A copy of the schedule of trust property to which the Order refers can be obtained from the Department of Health, NHS Trust Unit, Room 1N33F, Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7UE.
