The Secretary of State for Education and Employment, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 22 and 43(1) of the Teaching and Higher Education Act 1998(1), hereby makes the following Regulations:-
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 1st July 2000.
2. The Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) Regulations 1999(2) shall be amended as follows.
3. In regulation 3(1)(e)(3), for the words "has held" substitute the words "has not held".

These Regulations, made under section 22 of the Teaching and Higher Education Act 1998, come into force on 1st July 2000.
They amend the Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) Regulations 1999 (as amended by the Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) (Amendment) Regulations 2000), by correcting an error in the drafting of regulation 3(1)(e) (regulation 3).
Sub-paragraph (e) was inserted by The Education (Student Support) (European Institutions) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 (S.I. 2000/923).
