The Consular Fees Order 2003

  Made 17th July 2003 
  Coming into force 2nd October 2003 

At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 17th day of July 2003

Present,

The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 1(1) of the Consular Fees Act 1980[1], is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

     1. This Order may be cited as the Consular Fees Order 2003 and shall come into force on 2 October 2003.

    
2. The Consular Fees (No. 2) Order 1999[2] shall be amended as follows -

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order amends the Consular Fees (No. 2) Order 1999 in order to increase certain passport fees. The Order also decreases certain other passport fees. The Order also introduces a fast-track collect service as an alternative to the fast-track and premium services.
