HIGHWAYS, ENGLAND

The A66 Trunk Road (South Stockton Link Slip Roads) (Trunking) Order 2007

  Made 2nd March 2007 
  Coming into force 25th May 2007 

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[1] and now vested in him[2]:

     1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the A66 Trunk Road (South Stockton Link Slip Roads) (Trunking) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 25th May 2007.

    (2) In this Order, all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway.

    
2. The lengths of highways described in the Schedule to this Order shall become trunk roads from the date when this Order comes into force.

    
3. The centre line of each of the new trunk roads is indicated by a heavy black line on the plan numbered HA 10/TD/023, marked "The A66 Trunk Road (South Stockton Link Slip Roads) (Trunking) Order 2007", signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at the ODPM-DfT Records Management Branch, Floor 13 (IMD), Ashdown House, St Leonards on Sea, Hastings, East Sussex TN37 7GA.

SCHEDULE

LENGTHS OF HIGHWAY BECOMING TRUNK ROADS


The lengths of highway becoming trunk roads are:

    (1) The A66 eastbound entry slip road at the junction of A66 trunk road and South Stockton Link Road;

    (2) The A66 eastbound exit slip road at the junction of A66 trunk road and South Stockton Link Road;

    (3) The A66 westbound entry slip road at the junction of A66 trunk road and South Stockton Link Road; and

    (4) The A66 westbound exit slip road at the junction of A66 trunk road and South Stockton Link Road.
