The Exempt Charities (No. 2) Order 2007

  Made 2nd May 2007 
  Coming into force 3rd May 2007 

At the Court at Buckingham Palace, the 2nd day of May 2007

Present,

The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in pursuance of paragraph (c) of Schedule 2 to the Charities Act 1993[1], is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

     1. This Order may be cited as the Exempt Charities (No.2) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 3rd May 2007.

    
2. The Central School of Speech and Drama is hereby declared to be an exempt charity for the purposes of the Charities Act 1993.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order declares The Central School of Speech and Drama to be an exempt charity within the meaning of the Charities Act 1993 with effect from 3rd May 2007. An exempt charity is not required to be registered with the Charity Commissioners and the Commissioners cannot exercise any powers under the Act in relation to an exempt charity except at the charity's request.
