The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 59(2) and (3)(a) of the UK Borders Act 2007(1).
1. This Order may be cited as the UK Borders Act 2007 (Commencement No. 6) Order 2010.
2. Section 24 (seizure of cash) of the UK Borders Act 2007 shall come into force on 1st April 2010.

This Order brings into force section 24 (seizure of cash) of the UK Borders Act 2007 on 1st April 2010. Section 24 (seizure of cash) applies Chapter 3 of Part 5 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 (recovery of cash) to an immigration officer as it applies in relation to a constable.
