A framework for a syllabus to teach electronic evidence

Abstract

It is anticipated that no university at present will be able to cover the areas of knowledge noted in the syllabus in detail. However, as a compromise, a high-level approach will enable the ground to be covered in 4.5 hours. As a compromise, newly qualified lawyers should be required to undertake post-qualification courses on the topic, and this requirement should also apply to all lawyers currently in practice.
