Public Enterprise (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2002

To be made by the Government.

The Government, on request of the Minister for Public Enterprise, and in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 2(1) of No. 28 of 1977 ), hereby order as follows:

1.        This Order may be cited as the Public Enterprise (Delegation of Ministerial Functions) Order 2002.

2.        The powers and duties of the Minister for Public Enterprise conferred on her by or under-

(a)      the Radiological Protection (Amendment) Act 2002 ( No.3 of 2002 ), and

(b)      the Sustainable Energy Act 2002 ( No. 2 of 2002 ), other than sections 32 and 33 and the Schedule,

are delegated to Joe Jacob, Minister of State at the Department of Public Enterprise.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This order delegates the powers and duties of the Minister for Public Enterprise under

(a)   the Radiological Protection (Amendment) Act 2002 ( No.3 of 2002 ) and

(b)   the Sustainable Energy Act 2002 ( No. 2 of 2002 ) other than sections 32 and 33 and the Schedule,

to the Minister of State at the Department of Public Enterprise.
