European Communities (Control on Imports of Animal Products from China) (Amendment) Regulations 2002

I, Joe Walsh, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the European Communities Act 1972 ( No. 27 of 1972 ), and for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Decision No. 2002/933/EC of 28 November 2002¹ , hereby make the following regulations:-

1.       These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Control on Imports of Animal Products from China) (Amendment) Regulations 2002.

2.       The European Communities (Control on Imports of Animal Products from China) Regulations 2002 S.I. No. 141 of 2002 ) are amended, in Article 2(1) by the substitution for the definition of “Commission Decision” of-

“‘Commission Decision’ means Commission Decision No. 2002/69/EC of 30 January 2002 as amended by Commission Decision No. 2002/933/EC of 28 November 2002.”.
